Care instructions
Location
It is very important that your anthurium gets plenty of sunlight (e.g. from a west-facing window) so that the old leaves do not die after new ones have developed. However, they do not like direct sunlight. Your anthurium should also be in a warm place, but not near heaters.Temperature
Anthuriums are best kept at room temperatures of 18 - 30 degrees; at higher temperatures, make sure that the substrate does not dry out completely.Watering
The substrate of your Anthurium should always be kept moist. However, you should make sure that you do not give the plant too much water, as this will lead to waterlogging, which in turn will cause root rot. As a rule, it is sufficient to water your plant twice a week. To make it easier to monitor your plant's liquid requirements, a water level indicator is recommended. Since Anthuriums are very sensitive to calcareous water, you should (if possible) water them with rainwater instead of tap water.Care
Anthuriums should be repotted every one to two years; if the roots are already growing out of the drainage holes, they can be repotted earlier. Your anthurium should be fertilized regularly during the growing months between March and October; special anthurium fertilizer can be used here.Humidity
A higher humidity of 55% - 75% has a positive effect on the growth and development of the leaves.Pot diameter
