    The Alocasia Amazonia variegata is an exotic houseplant that immediately attracts attention. With its large, heart-shaped leaves and unique leaf pattern, it is a real asset to any room. This plant belongs to the Araceae family and is closely related to other popular Alocasia species such as the Alocasia Polly.
    Shipment

    We ship our plants climate-neutrally with DHL GoGreen.

    All international orders are shipped exclusively on Monday, all domestic orders are shipped from Monday to Wednesday due to shorter transit times.

    You also have the option of picking up your plants from us on site. Simply select the "Pickup" option during the ordering process.

    In the event of extreme weather conditions in winter and summer, we reserve the right to postpone shipping indefinitely until more favorable conditions for shipping plants are possible again.

    Packaging

    For the sake of the environment, we only use biodegradable packaging materials and completely avoid plastic.

    For the winter, we pack our plants well protected in various insulating materials and also include a heat pack so that they can be shipped even at low temperatures.

In particular, the appearance of leaf color and veining depends on light and temperature. These natural variations are not grounds for complaint.

    An exchange or return is only possible if the plant is in its original condition – this means:
    not repotted, not trimmed and not changed (e.g. placed in different substrate).

    Please do not repot the delivered plant initially, even if you plan to switch to your own substrate later. Our specially formulated growing substrate ensures optimal conditions for transport and acclimatization.

    We reserve the right to refuse returns or refunds for altered plants, as this significantly influences the assessment of the plant's condition.

    Care instructions

    Location

    It prefers bright, indirect light conditions, but should be protected from direct sunlight as this can damage the leaves.

    Temperature

    This Alocasia thrives best at a constant room temperature between 18-24°C.

    Watering

    Watering should be even, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings to avoid root rot.

    Care

    The Alocasia amazonica variegata requires careful care to ensure its well-being and decorative appearance. Regular fertilization with a balanced houseplant fertilizer during the growing season, usually from spring to autumn, is also important.

    Humidity

    Humidity should be increased by spraying the leaves regularly or placing the plant on a saucer filled with water.
