    We ship our plants climate-neutrally with DHL GoGreen.

    All international orders are shipped exclusively on Monday, all domestic orders are shipped from Monday to Wednesday due to shorter transit times.

    You also have the option of picking up your plants from us on site. Simply select the "Pickup" option during the ordering process.

    In the event of extreme weather conditions in winter and summer, we reserve the right to postpone shipping indefinitely until more favorable conditions for shipping plants are possible again.

    Packaging

    For the sake of the environment, we only use biodegradable packaging materials and completely avoid plastic.

    For the winter, we pack our plants well protected in various insulating materials and also include a heat pack so that they can be shipped even at low temperatures.

Therefore, depending on the season, growth phase, and individual development, variations in size, color, number of leaves, and growth habit may occur. In particular, the appearance of leaf color and veining depends on light and temperature. These natural variations are not grounds for complaint.

    An exchange or return is only possible if the plant is in its original condition – this means:
    not repotted, not trimmed and not changed (e.g. placed in different substrate).

    Please do not repot the delivered plant initially, even if you plan to switch to your own substrate later. Our specially formulated growing substrate ensures optimal conditions for transport and acclimatization.

    We reserve the right to refuse returns or refunds for altered plants, as this significantly influences the assessment of the plant's condition.

    Care instructions

    Location

    The Philodendron thrives best in a well-lit to partially shaded location with indirect light. Direct sunlight should be avoided as it can cause leaves to fade and cause sunburn. A brighter location promotes lush growth and larger leaves.

    Temperature

    The tree friend comes from the tropical rainforests and thrives best at a temperature of 21 °C or higher, which promotes its growth. However, it can also survive at temperatures of up to 12 °C.

    Watering

    During spring and summer, it is recommended that you water the Philodendron approximately every 1-2 weeks. As long as the plant is not too large, it only needs moderate amounts of water, but it is important to ensure that the top 2-3 cm of soil remains slightly moist at all times. During the winter months, watering should be reduced and the plant can be sprayed occasionally instead. Note that the Philodendron does not like heated air and should avoid this.

    Care

    Most Philodendron plants enjoy climbing and develop their largest leaves when allowed to grow on a trellis. They thrive particularly well in a high humidity environment of over 50%, although they can tolerate lower humidity conditions. Occasionally misting these plants with water or placing them in a greenhouse display case, for example, will help them to develop new leaves.
